Rainbow Cloud Over South Shore Center - Alameda, CA

Natural rainbow formation.  Photo not enhanced aside from slight adjustment of exposure and cropping.   Taken with my iPhone.  If anyone knows what this phenomenon is called please let me know.  I've never seen a cloud formation like this.

50's Roadtrip

Another photo from the Jack London Auto Show.  If you were a kid in the 50's or 60's you probably remember those family vacations in your Dad's American highway cruiser.  Teasing your younger brother or sister until your Dad yelled "don't make me stop this car and come back there."  Whining "when are we gonna get there?"  This detail of the rear wing window of a classic Dodge evokes a lost time when families could still afford to pack up the kids and hit the road.
